When I was first attuned I experienced red and burning/tingling palms continuously for three or four days. Now I only have to think or intend Reiki and I experience the same!
In my self-care I have combined Reiki with EFT and Chakra work, which I find, is a profoundly beautiful and gentle process. It has enabled me to deepen my peace and my self-knowledge/awareness. Bringing Reiki into my meditation practice has also proved extremely rewarding.
The parts I found most useful of the course were the attunement information and the explanation of Emotrance to help with the physical and mental preparation. I also think that the material being so simple and concise was a huge benefit to me.
